You're a few hours away. Your house isn't.
- You live in Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, or out of state. The house is in Emerald Isle or Atlantic Beach, and you see it a few weekends a season.
- Salt air, humidity, and storm season work on the house whether or not anyone is there. A slow leak under a sink or a clogged condensate line doesn't wait for your next trip.
- A neighbor notices. A camera watches. A cleaner tidies. Each one sees a piece. Nobody is responsible for the whole picture.
What property stewardship means
Property stewardship means someone local is responsible for knowing the condition of your home and telling you what it needs.
With 2HS enrolled, you get four things:
- Know the condition. Photos and findings from every system in the house, every month, kept in one place.
- Catch issues earlier. A drip, a failing seal, or a tripped breaker gets found in weeks, not at Thanksgiving.
- Get them handled. We recommend a fix, coordinate a trusted local vendor, and follow up. You approve; we oversee.
- Arrive to a home that's ready. You open the door to a house you already understand.
What full stewardship includes
This is the Elite plan. Essentials is a lighter option: an onboarding inspection, a monthly visual check, and vendor coordination for $200 a month plus a one-time onboarding inspection. Compare plans.
- Monthly visit. Your steward walks the property on a checklist, inside and out, to the same standard every time. Not a glance from the driveway.
- Photo condition report. After every visit: photos, findings, and action items, organized and kept in your account. Not a text that says "looks fine."
- Property record. Every system, appliance, service date, and access detail in one place you and your co-owners can reach. Not a binder in a kitchen drawer.
- Storm follow-up. After a named storm, a follow-up visit and condition report as soon as access allows. You know what you're dealing with before you drive down.
- Vendor coordination. When something needs a trade, we recommend, coordinate, and follow up with vendors we know. You approve the work; we make sure it gets done.

Eric is a North Carolina licensed general contractor and licensed real estate broker based in Morehead City, with a background in construction project management and supply chain operations. He knows what a failing system looks like, who to call, and how to judge the work.
Where we work
2HS serves second-home owners across Carteret County: Morehead City, Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, Pine Knoll Shores, Cape Carteret, and Down East. We plan to extend to other coastal communities as the founding group fills.
